Google funds and supports Eskuad

Google for Startups Latino Founders Fund selects Eskuad for its inaugural cohort!
Portland, ME: On July 11th, Google for Startups named Eskuad one of 50 startups selected for the first Latino Founders Fund! The award recognizes the founder’s application, startup size, readiness for funding, demonstrated traction, reach and impact, and whether Google could uniquely support them aside from the capital.
“This is an outstanding milestone within our strategy to grow the company in America,” says Max Echeverria, Founder & CEO of Eskuad. “We started bootstrapping in the south of Chile, and at first nobody believed us, being backed by Techstars, and now Google is a dream came true.”
“Max is building a great company in Eskuad,‘’ says Danny Navarro from Google for Startups. “We love their approach and think there are so many groups in the field that can benefit from their platform. We’re thrilled to have them as a recipient of the Latino Founders Fund.”
The selected startups passed a competitive process with a strong founder’s application, the right startup size, readiness for funding, demonstrated traction, reach, and impact, and whether Google could uniquely support them aside from the capital. Across the country, 50 founders will receive $100K in cash to help grow their business. They’ll also receive hands-on support from Google employees across the company, $100K in Google Cloud credits, and access to mental health therapists at no cost.
